Eliza M. Rose was born in Dekalb, Illinois. At the age of 3, her parents moved her and her three brothers to Virginia Beach, Virginia. While growing up in Virginia Beach, Eliza held a special place in her heart for Illinois, especially the surrounding Chicago area. Currently, Eliza lives in Virginia Beach with her husband, Brian, their children, and their family pets. She is in her 18th year as a public school teacher. She holds a Master's degree in Education and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction. A Tale of Prima Facie is her debut novella, and she's working on a second.
